Ambers - WTF?

Postby White325 on Thu Jul 29, 2010 8:28 pm

Why are so many people refitting amber lights to their E36s? This seems to be a new craze, get rid of the white indi's / side repeaters / M style rears and replace them with 316 spec lights. Am I missing something? Looks cr4p IMHO, although each to their own....

I think they can look good, depending on the colour of the car, especially on a nice looking example.

Shane for your car if you are having orange rims, make it the same colour at the stock indicators, then tint the red section of the rears black so your car will be completely black and orange.

If you don't like the smoked ones you know where I am

Osk i can photo shop drop me a pm

I prefer clears. So long as they have silver bulbs, if its head lights itll have to be black angel lights and rears m3 or them frosted white rear lights

Some people prefer the oem look it adds to the resell value also. Gives the impression the car has not been modded

unless you have a coupe or vert and they come with clear repeaters

and it depends what colour car you have, dark colours work well with lightly smoked clear rear lights not oem ones and of course on light colours then they dont look to goos, but its down to what you think.
