who in their right mind would go from a BMW to an Audi anyway? - they have to be one of (if not) THE dullest cars on the planet as far as design goes. The outside is fairly bland/nondescript and the inside is a sea of cheap plastic trim. They are cars for people with no imagination, passion or flair and who drive because they have to - not because they want to.
Well that is your opinion and your entitled to that. what Audi did you drive where the inside is cheap plastic trim?
If any thing Audi as one of the greatest interiors out there, on par with BMW. I had a BMW for over 5 years, VW before then and Now Audi. I have not looked back since and have not thought at one stage I made the wrong decision. You sure your not on about the new GTR or Impreza lol
Hmmm yes the new e90 has lots of flare and imagination
FWIW I've driven quite a few Audi's and various other VAG's when I need a car for work (and I always look forward to jumping back into my Z3 as it makes me realise how much time, thought and effort went into the design) - but as far as my comments above go - Both my sisters had Audi's (one still does) - one had an Audi A4 convertible (B6) from new (silver with red leather interior) and had nothing but problems with it! - gearbox had to be replaced etc and my other sister has an Audi A4 Avant Estate (B6) and both of them looked and felt very cheap and basic inside (both fairly high spec models as well..)- no thought or design process has went into them whatsoever and you can still trace the roots of the interior designs back to the old 80's and 100's - I don't think Audi have ever heard of the term ergonomics. At least BMW attempt to make their cars driver focused. They were both as dull as dishwater to drive as well.
Like I said ok to get you about from A to B etc.. but not really a car you'd choose to drive for drivings sake.. not that nice a place to be - a bit dull, bland and boring.
Your obviously entitled to your opinion as well - however they might be better received on an Audi forum?.. I'm sure you'll find loads of like minded folk there who can share and appreciate the interior wonders of leatherique to its full potential.
But don't take my word for it - in 2006 the E90 not only won World Car of the Year it also came second in World Car Design of the Year - but then again they must be wrong as well!
