Very bad oil leak from the rocker-box cover take note all you e46 owners you have to remove a lot to get to it advise you to check yours from time to time as the oil leaks all over the exhaust manifold and can get quite smoke could in some very bad cases like this one lead to a fire.

Very nice, easy fixes are good, although often not very profitable!

Can I join in this thread? :)

I had this car today, for a reported scraping noise from the rear after driving for a while.

It turned out to be simply worn out rear pads, just about through to the metal.

It still waranted a test drive though! :D

I've always thought of Mitsubishi GTOs as being over sized, over weight, over complicated things.

And I was right! :?

Despite having quite a lot of power from it's lightly fettled 3.0 litre V6 twin turbo engine it is not a very pleasant thing to drive! :(

Quite fast, but very boat like, with a very heavy clutch, vague steering and general hugeness, not my cup of tea really, although it does make a rather fantastic noise with it's non-standard exhaust! 8)

There are plenty of fantastic and fast Japanese cars around from the early and mid 1990s, but for me, this is not one of them.
