Dont use ECP bushes mate, they are cack. Get the genuine ones from the dealers. They are only a couple of pounds more, but much much better 8)

The bolts going 'round and round' will be No 7 in Carlos' pic, what has probably happened is the body nut inside the car has come loose from the floor and is spinning. Rear seat out job. If your brake fluid level has not dropped it will be fluid leaking past the seals in the master cylinder. If the seals are perished giving the pedal some abuse will totally f*ck them eventually, another sign of perished seals is murky/brown/black fluid and tiny black bits in the fluid.

Vanos is a very good system, the problems start when oil services are neglected, poor oil is used, and hard driving without reducing the oil change intervals.

Like most things it has its upsides and downsides 8)

Yep, no vanos in this engine :)
Its a vanos engine with a non vanos head, I used the vanos case on the front as I dont have a non vanos cam cover/gasket
